MigraInfo Pro Terms of Service
Effective date: October 13, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between Sonoran Apps LLC ("Sonoran Apps," "we," "us") and the organization that creates or uses a MigraInfo Pro account (the "Customer," "you"). They govern MigraInfo Pro, the web service at pro.migrainfo.com and its related features (the "Service"). The person who accepts these Terms confirms they have authority to bind the Customer. The Data Processing Addendum at migrainfo.com/pro/dpa (the "DPA") is part of these Terms.
The consumer MigraInfo app has its own terms at migrainfo.com/terms. A client who follows a case in the consumer app through a link from you uses that app under those terms.
1. Service
The Service lets your organization monitor U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and immigration court (EOIR) cases, record key dates, coordinate a team, and send case updates and reminders to clients who have agreed to receive them.
Case information comes from the agencies' own systems: USCIS status through USCIS's case-status service, and immigration-court information from EOIR's public automated case information, retrieved from your members' browsers when they run a court check. USCIS, EOIR and the other agencies are the authoritative sources. We do not control their systems, and the information they return can be delayed, unavailable, incomplete or inaccurate. You must verify critical information with the agency directly.
MigraInfo Pro is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by USCIS, EOIR, the U.S. Department of Justice or any government agency.
2. No Legal Advice and Customer Responsibility
The Service is a tool for your organization. It is not a law firm, does not give legal advice, and does not create an attorney-client or other professional relationship with you or your clients.
You remain solely responsible for your cases, including calendaring and meeting every hearing, filing and response deadline, confirming case status with the agency, and your communications with clients. Reminders and status alerts are a convenience and may fail, arrive late or be missing. The Service must not be used as your sole calendaring, docketing, deadline-management, case-status or client-notification system.
3. Accounts and Authorized Users
You choose who becomes a member of your organization and what role they have. Members must be your own personnel or contractors working for you. You are responsible for your members' use of the Service, for removing members who should no longer have access, and for keeping the sign-in accounts (Google or Microsoft) they use secure. Members sign in with those accounts, which manage the credentials; MigraInfo does not receive or store users' authentication passwords. Each plan includes a number of member seats.
4. Client Consent and Communications
The Service can send your clients text messages and emails about their cases, on your behalf and under your organization's name.
- Your consent obligations. You may send only to clients who have given you legally sufficient consent for that channel, recorded in the Service either through your organization's sign-up page or by a member recording consent the client gave you (for example on an intake form). You are responsible for obtaining and documenting that consent before any message is sent, for the accuracy of every consent record your members enter, and for compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), state telemarketing and text-messaging laws, the CAN-SPAM Act and any other communications law that applies to your messages.
- Our platform safeguards. We are responsible for operating the technical safeguards the Service describes: recording consents and opt-outs, blocking messages to clients without a recorded consent for that channel, honoring STOP replies and email unsubscribes, and keeping a log of what was sent.
- Opt-outs. A client who replies STOP to a text, or unsubscribes from an email, stops receiving that channel. You must not work around an opt-out, and you may not record a new consent for a client who opted out unless the client has given it again.
- Transactional only. Messages are limited to updates and reminders about the client's own case. The Service may not be used for marketing, promotional, fundraising or solicitation messages, or for messages unrelated to a client's case.
- Your messages. You choose whether updates go out automatically or only after a member reviews them. Either way, the messages are yours.
5. Client App Integration
You can send a client a single-use link that adds a case to the client's own MigraInfo app account. The client controls that account and can stop sharing at any time. Through the link you learn only whether the client follows the case in the app; you receive no other information from the client's account.
6. Acceptable Use
You will not, and will not let others:
- use the Service unlawfully, or to look up cases you have no legitimate reason to monitor;
- enter information you have no right to enter, or send messages without the consent described in section 4;
- try to access another organization's data, or probe, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the Service;
- run court checks or imports at a volume meant to burden USCIS, EOIR or our systems, or work around the Service's limits;
- resell the Service, or give access to people outside your organization.
7. Subscription, Billing and Cancellation
- Trial. A new organization gets a 14-day trial at the Starter plan's limits, without a payment card. When the trial ends without a subscription, automatic monitoring and client messaging stop; your data is kept as described in section 12.
- Plans and fees. Fees are charged in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, at the prices shown when you subscribe. Plans differ in the number of active cases, member seats and monthly client text messages; Firm-plan customers may add case packs. Applicable taxes may be added.
- Changes. You can change plans or case packs at any time from Settings. A change takes effect immediately and the difference is prorated. If a change leaves you with more active cases or members than the new plan allows, your existing cases and members stay, but you cannot add more until you are within the limit. We may change prices or plan features on at least 30 days' notice before your next billing period.
- Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from Settings. Your plan continues until the end of the period already paid. Fees are not refundable except for billing errors or where the law requires.
- Non-payment. If a payment fails or an invoice is not paid by its due date, we may suspend automatic monitoring and messaging after a grace period while Stripe retries the charge.
- Enterprise. Larger organizations may agree to invoiced billing, different limits and other terms in a separate order form, which governs where it conflicts with these Terms.
8. Customer Data
"Customer Data" means the information you and your members put into the Service, or that the Service retrieves for your cases: case numbers and statuses, client names, phone numbers and email addresses, consents, notes, key dates and message logs.
- As between you and Sonoran Apps, you retain all rights you have in Customer Data.
- You grant Sonoran Apps the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, secure, maintain, support and display Customer Data in order to provide the Service, and for nothing else.
- We process personal information in Customer Data on your behalf under the DPA. Your organization's account and billing records, our business contact with you, and the security and operational logs we keep to run the Service are ours to handle under our Privacy Policy at migrainfo.com/privacy.
- We do not sell Customer Data, use it for advertising, or use it to train artificial-intelligence models.
- You are responsible for having the right to put Customer Data into the Service.
9. Confidentiality
"Confidential Information" is information one party discloses to the other under these Terms that is marked confidential or that a reasonable person would understand to be confidential. Customer Data is your Confidential Information; the non-public parts of the Service and our security documentation are ours.
Each party will use the other's Confidential Information only for the purposes of these Terms, protect it with at least reasonable care, and disclose it only to its personnel, contractors and, in our case, subprocessors who need to know it and are bound to keep it confidential. Confidential Information does not include information that is or becomes public through no fault of the receiving party, was known to it before disclosure, is independently developed without use of the other's information, or is lawfully obtained from a third party without a duty of confidence. A party may disclose Confidential Information when the law requires, after giving the other party notice where legally permitted so it can seek protection.
10. Security and Data Processing
We protect Customer Data with the measures described at migrainfo.com/pro/security and in Annex A of the DPA. The DPA governs how we process personal information in Customer Data, lists our subprocessors, and sets out how and when we notify you of a Security Incident (as defined there) affecting your Customer Data.
11. Intellectual Property
Sonoran Apps and its licensors own the Service, including its software, interface, documentation, branding, designs and underlying technology. For the term of your subscription you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your organization's internal purposes under these Terms. You receive no ownership interest in the Service. If you give us suggestions or feedback about the Service, we may use them without restriction or compensation.
12. Term, Suspension and Termination
These Terms apply while your organization uses the Service. We may suspend access, after notice where practical, if you breach section 4 or 6, if your use threatens the Service or others, or for non-payment. Either party may end the relationship by cancelling.
An admin can export all Customer Data at any time from Settings. An owner can ask us to delete the organization from Settings; we delete it 30 days later unless the request is cancelled.
Otherwise, Customer Data is kept as follows: when a trial ends without a subscription, we delete the organization's data 90 days after the trial ends; when a paid subscription is cancelled or ends, we keep the data for 90 days so you can export it or reactivate, then delete it. In both cases the owners and admins get an email 14 days before the deletion. We keep data longer only where the law requires. Copies in database backups expire within 7 days of deletion from the live database; operational logs and error reports are kept for up to 30 days.
13. Warranties and Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that agency data, status alerts, reminders or messages will be accurate, complete, timely or delivered. Agency information is subject to section 1.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, including any harm from a missed hearing or deadline. Each party's total liability under these Terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These limits do not apply to your payment obligations, to your indemnification obligations under section 15, or to liability that cannot be limited by law.
15. Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Sonoran Apps and its officers, employees and contractors from third-party claims, demands and proceedings, including government and regulatory proceedings, and the resulting damages, penalties, costs and reasonable attorneys' fees, to the extent arising from:
- Customer Data, or your right to enter it;
- missing, invalid or insufficient client consent;
- inaccurate consent information entered by you or your members;
- messages sent at your direction or under your settings;
- bypassing or ignoring an opt-out;
- marketing, promotional or other prohibited messages;
- your violation of the TCPA, state messaging laws or other communications laws; or
- your breach of section 4 or 6.
We will notify you promptly of a claim, let you control the defense and settlement, and cooperate at your expense. You may not settle a claim in a way that admits fault on our behalf or imposes obligations on us without our consent.
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give at least 30 days' notice by email to your organization's owners or in the Service; continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the update. The Service may also ask an owner to review and accept the updated Terms.
17. General
- Governing law and venue. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes belong in the state or federal courts in Maricopa County, Arizona, and each party consents to their jurisdiction.
- Force majeure. Neither party is liable for a delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, government action, failures of the agencies' systems, internet or power outages, or the acts of third-party providers, except for payment obligations.
- Notices. We send notices to the email address of your organization's owners or display them in the Service. You send notices to us at support@migrainfo.com. A notice is effective when sent, or when received if sent another way.
- No waiver. A party's failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
- Independent contractors. The parties are independent contractors. These Terms create no partnership, joint venture, agency or employment relationship.
- Assignment. Neither party may assign these Terms without the other's consent, except to a successor of its business.
- Severability. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- Public-sector customers. These Terms are written for private organizations. Where a government or public-sector customer's law requires it, its order form may replace the governing-law, venue, indemnification, public-records or sovereign-immunity provisions of these Terms.
- Language. These Terms are written in English. A translation is provided for convenience, and the English version controls if they conflict.
- Entire agreement. These Terms, the DPA and any order form are the entire agreement about the Service. If they conflict, the order form prevails, then the DPA for data protection, then these Terms.
